The return

For years, I stopped looking through the lens but never stopped seeing.

I write code by day. Quiet rooms, soft keyboards, the hum of a machine that asks for nothing but attention.

At some point, a camera fell into the back of a drawer. Years passed. Light kept arriving anyway, through windows, across faces, along streets I forgot to photograph.

These are the frames I’ve started catching again.
